Class II composite restorations require careful technique and material selection for successful clinical outcomes. This lecture will discuss the clinical considerations when placing a class II composite restoration. Participants will learn about the process including Preparation; Matrix System; Adhesives, Liner/Base; Composite; Heating Composite; Curing Light; Composite Instrumentation and, Finishing and Polishing.

Dr. John A. Tupper

Dr. John A. Tupper is presently a dental consultant with Clinical Research Dental. After graduating from The University of Western Ontario in 1983, he completed a General Practice Residency. In 2013, after 30 years as a general practitioner, he became an Adjunct Clinical Professor at The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, training the next generation of dentists. He is a fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.
