Paedodontic Gems... Kids Gotta Love 'em

CE Credit:1.5 Hr

Course Summary

Children are unique and special. I have had the pleasure of providing dental care for infants, tweens, teens, and many special needs patients for 40 years and continue to thoroughly enjoy it. Paedodontic Gems will give a short overview of the most common reasons for a child’s first dental visit — caries and its consequences or trauma. Recommendations for the Age One dental visit and the importance of prevention will also be stressed. Aspects of behavior management with parental inclusion will be discussed along with case studies and anomalies. Most importantly, the children will speak for themselves. Participants should leave with insights into the world of little people and feel more comfortable treating them. Welcome to my world.
